Sean Giblin | CEO
Sean Giblin founded Cylon Controls Ltd. in 1985 when he spun the company out from research at University College Dublin (UCD). Along with day to day management of the company Sean has had critical input into each generation of Cylon products. He also has spearheaded the expansion of Cylon into new markets internationally. Sean holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from TCD, BE from UCD along with CdipAF from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has completed advanced management programs with the Irish Management Institute and Cranfield University. Eamon Meehan | Finance Director
Eamon Meehan is responsible for financial management and corporate development. Eamon also leads the MENA sales division. Prior to Cylon, he held senior financial and general management positions with Avaya Inc., Spectel plc and IBM. Earlier in his career, Eamon spent 7 years in the audit and consulting divisions of Arthur Andersen. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and DPA from University College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. (Cylon Controls Board Member)
Paul Wickberg | President American Auto-Matrix, a Cylon Energy Inc Company
Paul Wickberg is an experienced business leader with 30 years’ experience in the building energy management and controls business. He has been a director since June 2013, and was appointed president of American Auto-Matrix/Cylon Energy in April of 2015. Mr. Wickberg spent 19 years as co-founder, then President of Computer Process Controls which was acquired by Emerson Electric where he became President of the Climate Technologies division of that business. During his career he has led other sustainable technology companies including Emerson Retail Services, Verisae, evandtec, and most recently was a partner in Energy Squared, LLC, a Consulting Engineering firm. Paul holds a BSME, Engineering from Purdue University. (Cylon Controls Board Member)
Cylon Non-Executive Team
Bertrand Gautier is a Senior Partner of Greencoat Capital managing over $1.5bn of asset in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Bertrand sits on the board of five of the portfolio companies invested by the €200m growth capital fund (ESB NM) managed by GC. Prior to that he joined from Terra Firma Capital Partners where he led a wide variety of LBO transactions and worked at Merrill Lynch M&A advisory group as part of the Industrials and Infrastructure teams. Before, Bertrand developed extensive operational experience at Procter & Gamble as well as in French engineering SMEs. Bertrand holds an MSc in General Engineering from ICAM (France) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (USA). (Cylon Controls Board Member)
An entrepreneur out of the gate, Anand has over 25 years of experience in smart building technologies and services industry. He has a passion for developing tech businesses both in respect to products and services. His earlier ventures under the iMetrex Group included “DATS” India’s leading electronic security, safety and building automation company and “Europlex” an Irish technology company that built class leading security control equipment and integrated security management software. Siemens AG completed the acquisition of the iMetrex group in December 2009. Anand is currently involved with Invicara, his new software startup in the Building Information Modelling domain. With a proven track record to envision, bootstrap, scale and create value in startups, Anand brings a wealth of leadership experience and business acumen to the team. (Cylon Controls Board Member)
Jeremy Pelczer is Managing Director of Landara Ltd, Chair of charity WaterAid International, Chair of UK based Sutton and East Surrey Water, and a member of the Duke CE Global Learning Resource Network.
Jeremy has over 20 years of extensive experience in strategic acquisitions, operations management, finance, and accounting with a variety of companies headquartered in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Landara Ltd Jeremy was Managing Director of international operations with Thames Water where he oversaw considerable growth in the business such as the acquisition of the Elizabethtown Water Company in New Jersey, COO of RWE Thames Water Plc leading the restructuring of the business, president and CEO of American Water which had annual revenues of £1.5 billion, and CEO of Thames Water until the sale of the company in December 2006.
Jeremy graduated from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England with a degree in Economics. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 and attended the Harvard Advanced Management Programme. (Cylon Controls Board Member)
